the virgin mary

ive spent a little time thinking about the virgin mary. in many abrahamic religions she is the mother of jesus. her claim to fame is that an angel came to her to inform her that she was pregnant with the son of god and his name was to be jesus.

i also have a lot of friends who beleive in this theory and also beleive that their god is perfect and has never sinned. i have to admit it is an interesting theory but makes little since. though i consider most (and i use this lightly) of my friends to be rational people i find it hard to beleive that a virgin could get pregnant in the first place. after all, scientists have proved that virginity and pregnancy dont happen.

even if you choose to ignore this theory and beleive that the virgin did get pregnant that would mean that god was also a sinner like the people he was creating, that he couldnt possibly promise heaven when he was no better than anyone. not to mention he puts basic human nature as a sin, not allowing them to freely express sexuality and many other aspects of human life. call me a satanist sympaphiser when i say this but when there are certain things like lust that every human expierences shouldnt we be able to openly express this, even with a monogamous religion in our lives?

earlier, while doing a bit of reading in the levay satanic bible it was even speaking of this. due to the restrictions of the monogamous religions many people restrict their sexuality to adhere to these rules and sometimes even deny their true sexuality just to obey a god that hasnt changed with the times and is out of date with his followers. he has lost touch with what modern day people have come to beleive. he hasnt sent an apostile that all religions beleiving in the virgin and his son have acknowledged where they even were in time compared to what is word was predicting. there are no messages being relayed any longer. how can any of them be sure where they are and that their armefeddon hasnt already come?
